![]() ![]() Savage River Campground offers three different types of campsites:Ī Sites – Designed for RVs greater than 30’ in length, Savage River A sites are the largest campsites at Savage River Campground. Savage River Campground lies outside the restricted area of the Denali Park Road so visitors are able to return to the park entrance area during their stay. As this campground is more remote, please make sure you have everything you need with you to enjoy your stay. Transit buses into the park can be reserved to pick you up at this campground, saving you a trip back to the Denali Bus Depot. ![]() Thirty-three sites for RVs and tents provide easy access to great hiking and views of the Outer and Alaska Ranges – including Denali when it is visible. Located at Mile 13 of the Denali Park Road, Savage River Campground is smaller in size and more remote than Riley Creek Campground. These sites are only available in-person at the Riley Creek Mercantile and cannot be reserved in advance. Vehicles are not permitted in this section of the campground. These sites can accommodate an RV up to 40’ in length.ī Sites – Riley Creek B sites offer space for RVs less than 30’ in length and tent campers who wish to have a vehicle at their campsite.Ĭ Sites – Designed for those visitors who arrive in Denali without a vehicle, Riley Creek C sites are walk-in tent sites. This campground is located near the Riley Creek Mercantile, Denali Bus Depot, Denali Visitor Campus, and numerous hiking trails making Riley Creek Campground the most accessible campground to park amenities. You'll find RV and tent sites nestled among the spruce trees alongside Riley Creek.
